The Church of Saint Benedict is 155 years old. Not the building, but the community that began making history in Avon, MN back in 1869. The current church building was built in 1928. They added a gathering space in 1994 that helps support one of the Benedictine Rules - Hospitality! A place to welcome people and to wish them well when they leave. This space is used currently for donuts and gatherings after Mass.
