Vine Ministry
Remain in me and bear much fruit.
About Vine Ministry
Vine Ministry is an effort of the Harvest of Hope parishes to make sure that everyone can remain connected to the parish through reception of the Sacraments and pastoral visits.
Volunteers from each HOH parish bring communion to those unable to attend Mass in person. We have also been working to ensure that all Catholics residing in local facilities have access to the Eucharist weekly,
and fill in where needed (for example, St. Benedict volunteers bring Eucharist to Serenity Village). Our priests are always available to visit with parishioners and to offer the sacraments of Eucharist, Reconciliation, and
Anointing.
If you would like to help us reach out to bring Jesus to those in need, wewelcome your help! Please stop by your parish office to check out our resources that include:
Pyx (small vessel to hold Eucharist), Communion to the Homebound
Instructions, Communion to the Homebound prayer card, and a Vine
Ministry resource brochure (to assist ministers in being prepared with
local agencies who can help parishioners in additional ways, if needed).
I would like more information on how to help in this ministry.
