About the Harvest of Hope Area Catholic Community
We began in 2019 by establishing a Pastoral Council with representation from each parish, this was a great way to ensure that each parish is heard and that the needs of your community are being met.

The Council's Focus

-
Community Engagement: Actively involve community members in the planning and decision-making process. This could include regular meetings, surveys, and open forums.
-
Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication between the council, parishes, and community members. Consider creating a newsletter or an online platform to keep everyone informed.
-
Support Services: Develop programs and services that address the specific needs of your community, such as youth programs, senior support, and family assistance.
-
Events and Activities: Plan events and activities that bring the community together, fostering a sense of belonging and unity. This could include social gatherings, educational workshops, and religious celebrations.
-
Sustainability: Consider the long-term sustainability of your initiatives. This may involve fundraising efforts, partnerships with local businesses, and volunteer recruitment.
-
Evaluation and Feedback: Regularly assess the progress of your strategic plan and gather feedback from the community to make necessary adjustments.

Remember, it's a collaborative effort, and every step we take will help strengthen the bonds within your community. What’s your vision for the future?
Our Community Beyond Our Churches
That's right! The Harvest of Hope Area Catholic Community (ACC) is quite comprehensive. It includes four parishes: Saint Anthony, Saint Benedict, Saint Martin, and Seven Dolors. Additionally, it has an oratory, Saint Catherine's, a Catholic school, Holy Family School (serving pre-K to 5th grade), a second hand store, Mother Seton and a senior living center, Mother of Mercy.
